TransGlobe’s proudly adds Mission, British Columbia to it portfolio with the acquisition of a 59± suite residential building

Mission, B.C. – August 9, 2007 – The Municipality of Mission is the next step in TransGlobe’s rapid expansion into the British Columbia real estate market.  Located only a 15-minute drive north of the U.S. border, and approximately 70 kilometers east of Vancouver, it rests among some of the province’s most breathtaking mountainous landscapes and natural forests.  Mission is currently home to over 35,000 people.

“We are very keen on expanding into British Columbia.  Quality rental suites are our specialty and we feel that the province doesn’t have enough of those,” comments Daniel Drimmer, TransGlobe’s President.  “Anywhere in B.C. with a population of over 30,000 we would consider a target market for us.”

 The property is located at:

 ·        33333 12th Avenue

The three-storey building offers 59± rental suites and is located in a residential area central to this rapidly growing and dynamic population centre.  With a laundry room on each floor, a variety of trees, shrubs and flowers surrounding it, and both the University College of Fraser Valley as well as the banks of Fraser River just minutes away, it offers an accommodating combination of building and area amenities.

“We are delighted to make this our first property in Mission,” remarks Leonard Drimmer, TransGlobe’s CEO.  “Most people there still probably do not know much about TransGlobe, but it will not be long before they realize that we do not just rent out apartments – we strengthen communities.  The building is already in a great location; soon our blue will adorn it and we will systematically implement our standards of customer service, maintenance, resident comfort and community involvement.”

TransGlobe upholds some of the highest customer service standards in the industry.  Its 24/7 Customer Care Centre, professional maintenance team that operates seven days per week and customer-focused corporate culture are all aspects of its philosophy of property management with integrity.

“We do our very best to keep our tenants happy and content,” adds Leonard Drimmer, “because being proud of where you live is the very first step to fostering strong and stable communities.”

TransGlobe, a private company with over 24,000 apartment suites under management across Canada, has remained very active since it entered the B.C. market in the summer of 2005, having acquired over 2,000 suites since then.  This is already TransGlobe’s second residential acquisition in B.C. this week and there are definite plans to expand the company’s presence in the province further.

“The economic situation in the province definitely calls for more of our product,” summarizes Daniel Drimmer.  “The monthly carrying costs of an average home in B.C. have been steadily increasing so a lot of people look to quality rental living as an option.  We fully expect to continue our expansion throughout the province and look forward to providing its residents with our brand of property management for years to come.”
