TransGlobe’s residential portfolio continues to grow with the acquisition of a 101± suite building in Toronto’s East end

 Toronto, Ontario – September 11, 2007 – TransGlobe Property Management Services announced the newest addition to the residential segment of its portfolio today.  This is the company’s ninth residential acquisition in the past six weeks. 

 The 9-storey, 101± suite building is located at: 

  • 2283 Eglinton Avenue East

 This accommodating property oversees the Eglinton Ravine and offers its residents plenty of parking, a lobby protected by security cameras, an on-site laundry room, easy access to public transit as well as an array of one, two, and three bedroom layouts with balconies.  The building’s immediate surroundings feature a number of schools, churches, department and grocery stores as well as many local eateries. 

 Following the acquisition, TransGlobe’s president Daniel Drimmer said, “The GTA has been the site of an important push in our expansion plans.  It is the main Canadian population centre and we try to offer our residents as many rental options here as possible.  This building also happens to represent what we look for in a residential property – convenient location, accommodating layouts and a mature, residential neighbourhood around it.”

 This acquisition also symbolizes TransGlobe’s typical approach to its newly purchased properties.  Over the coming months the company will implement an extensive renovation plan which will vastly improve its residents’ day-to-day experience and transform the building into a true standout of the neighbourhood.
